What kind of bug is this ?

Sorry I don't have a picture i usually see these things in the spring,As a matter of fact i saw them today when I was raking leaves around the porch a bunch of them jumped up on the porch .They are black bugs sort of look like crickets with red on their wings and they fly .generally see them in clusters
