It has been in the mid 50's with mist and light rain on and off all day until the sun just came out through some clouds in the last hour. Great day to work in the GH. We got about 2/3 of the plants cleaned up and taken outside to their summer homes, but we haven't arranged them yet. I hit the wall and just quit before we got the last corner emptied out. But very pleased that we got so much done. Rain was heavy and steady all night, so the tulips and Narcissus are ruined, but we so needed it that I am OK with the damage. The Lilies are in heaven. Now if I actually get to chat with DS tonight, I will be too. Happy Mom's day and as well to everyone else who has a Mom to celebrate. Patti

Yes, a Happy Day for all of you, that are any kind of Mom...I know my Suey thinks I'm Mom.... mostly sunny & 64 today, breezy....brought my seedlings in to protect them.....

Got into the garden this afternoon, making a list of which irises had bloomed. It can be tough as the plants seem to be scattered around. Frost predicted Mon. night. I hope that we are close enough to the ocean to miss it.

we skated the frost warning last night.. was in the next county over from me.. might be another for tonight.. 45 now going to 57

Burr this morning!! 37 degree's the sun is out, high of 58 today.

wow I am watching video of the ice that destroying those homes in Minnesota.. that slow and steady creeping would put me over the edge knowing that we couldn't stop it .. would be freaking out... get the torpedo tube heaters.. hairdrier... heat gun.. hot water.. how crazy is that???
