Hello,
I have been unable to pin down what type of beetle this is. It is in the presence of damage to Collards, Chinese Cabbage, head cabbage, mustard greens and any other cole crop I am trying at the moment. Are they eating the plants, or are they eating the pest that are?

Not a beetle, but a nymph of a harlequin bug, a very serious pest of plants in the cabbage family - http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/veg/leaf/harlequin_bug.htm
Thank you very much! No wonder I couldn't find an example of a beetle with that coloration!!
