I am taking starts from my fig tree. Filled the bottles with peat moss and will see how well they root.

I did nothing just put the bottles on the stem. Read some place this is the way. The figs have a milky liquid in the stems.
I shall see.

Tropic man in Bushland, not very tropic !
I moved up here 7 years ago from south Florida, have some citrus trees, banana ect. that I keep in the GH over winter.
The fig drops all it's leaves in the winter but always come back.
Everything gets feed with Rabbit Poo.

I planted a couple about a month ago,to see if they come back here,they did twice in Wichita Ks,but one winter ,but one real bad winter they didn't come back. I wish you luck,might try that with the bottle and moss myself,as soon as this silly weather straightens out.
