The weather is looking favorable. Think I've sent a message to all who are coming for sure and a few of the possibilities.
Mea culpa! I've got the slider rolls but forgot the sliders I so carefully constructed. They were left in the freezer in Atlanta. On to Plan B. lol There are lots of hot dogs. I'll figure out something. We for sure will not starve!

What weather?
Yes. It poured last night, was foggy earlier and now the sun is out. We might get some rain late tonight. Chance of rain tomorrow is 10% until late afternoon. Then only 20%. It looks like a nice day ahead.
Well so sorry to say, Ralph has to work all day tomorrow. He is the GM of Domonios here in Alex City. Any time folks quit, he is the only one who can run the shifts. So we will not make it this year...whaaaa.
Please keep us in mind for next year. We will be thinking of all of you tomorrow.

Hi Brenda. I'm really sorry you are not able to make it this year too. It will be more like a garden party than a RU. In fact, we may garden party so hard there will be no pictures. lol
I'm getting ready to go off as sundown is near. Looking forward to seeing old friends tomorrow. The coffee pot will be on.
Laurel and Steve............thank you for a most wonderful morning and afternoon at your place. We very much enjoyed the intimacy of the gathering you had there. And I got to visit to my hearts content.........and got a grand tour of the place with the other folks there. You have done a fantastic job with your perennial gardens.Many plants to see that were shared from previous Maypop RU's. And there were so many veggies and herbs and even flowers in the vegetable garden, and plenty of plants to dig and take home. Thanks again for the okra, the peacock fern, the eggplant start, and all the seeds we brought home with us. Most is going into the ground or pots tomorrow! You are the very best hostess and host!!!

Brenda, you are so very welcome! Thank you for participating and for the myriad selection of fabulous plants (as usual). Since rain was forecast for today we were up and out early to make a dent in the planting. Actually one of us planted while the other diddled around with stakes and supports for the veggies. Much to my surprise everything that needed to be in the ground got there and some long needed potting up was accomplished.
Please thank Sandy for her wonderful plant selections as well as the yummy 'nana puddin'. There certainly was no shortage of food.
I too appreciated the intimate atmosphere of this get together. Though a crowd is fun it allowed for more time to spend chatting with guests, sharing seed, and digging and cutting plants. I learned last evening that there were some photos taken. Don't know when or if I'll post them now that I'll be back on the treadmill and DD does not have to stand on her head anymore. :)
Well the rain is starting this very minute. Perfect timing. Now I can spend the afternoon quilting and watching a Netflix movie.

As usual , fun and friendship was had by all . So good to see friends again and Laurel was her same charming self . Steve was busy on the grill and the goodies he cooked were ready just in time . I was Hungry after all that tradeing . Hated to eat and run but was worried about my little dog back home . This visit was the best one ever and Sandy outdid herself again with a broad selection of plants and the homemade naner pudding .Johnny says it was just like his mom's .Never had sliders and they were delish . Will try them at home .
So sorry to have missed this. I hope we will be invited to the next one.
We now believe that what ever is all over my hands and arms is not poison ivy. I now have a approximately 1 foot diameter area on my back that is numb. I found this yesterday after hour of horrible itching I went out and got a bacj scratcher only to not be able to feel it when I used it. I will be going to the doc today or tomorrow to find out what is going on.
Again so sorry to have missed visiting with you all.
