Is all well with you, Willow? Can you ID this grass? Mainly I want to know if it would survive a transplant to Illinois winters.

Sorry I can't ID it. Never seen anything that big and hairy. I would shear it back and give it a try. Are you going to move to Illinois?
I'm doing well.

Oh so glad to hear it! Yes, I've been planning to return to the Midwest since January of 2012 but ... well, I don't want to go even though Jack built the GarageMahal this autumn for my studio/workshop. And then he got a really stupendous severance package from the stock exchange that had him working only through June rather than into 2015, so that negated the main need for my moving back to Kankakee & threw our planz into limbo and NOW he's agreed to work through August so that further confuses us.

So well yes, technically I am moving back to Illinois but as my cleaning woman said, "Wow, there doesn't seem to be any rushing about going on here."

I'm very glad I got the chance to meet you and get to know you a bit. You are a very neat person. Will miss you bunches. Patricia

I am also glad to hear you are doing well, Willow. I love those little irises. I have a few different colors, and they really cheer me up.
Summer, it sounds like you have a big move coming up. No rush sounds like the way to go. You can take your time with the transition. I like your sense of humor! Garagemahal! So funny, and I can imagine it. It's great you have someone who cares about you and wants you to have a space to do your thing.
