As my user name indicates, I love impatiens. With fourteen shady oaks in our yard, I have always enjoyed having beds of these cheerful flowering plants. Recently, as in the past year, I find them failing and did not know why. I went to a nearby nursery to purchase some and they explained they had just thrown out four flats worth due to sick and dying plants. They couldn't tell me exactly the problem, but said that they advised against buying any impatiens until this is figured out and combated. Have you heard any simialiar storys concerning ailing impatiens in great numbers?
