Hi guys,
I have a couple of these coming from the floor every night...
they are very small - like 1cm, have a little head and crawl very slowly.
a bit worries about this.
Can anyone tell me what it is?
Thanks.
Can anyone tell what this is?
Case-bearing caterpillar in family Tineidae - possibly a household casebearer - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phereoeca_uterella
Thanks for the quick reply!!
any idea what I do with this thing?
Is it dangerous to be around?
it's like a butterfly layed eggs in my house somewhere and the eggs are starting to pop?
Sorry - I have zero knowledge about these things...
They basically are nuisance pests. Although closely related to clothes moths, they appear to prefer feeding on old spider webs and the like.
