I found this bug crawling on a napkin on my back porch table. At first I thought it was a piece of dust/lint and then it started to move. I live in Sebring, Florida. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. We named him Sanford as he seems to carry a lot of junk like leaf debris and hairs, etc on his back for camouflage. Thank you!
CLOSED: Please help me identify this strange little bug
This is a larva of a green lacewing (family Chrysopidae). When they 'decorate' themselves in this fashion, they may be known as 'trash bugs' - http://polkfyn.blogspot.com/2012/09/whats-buggin-methe-green-lacewing.html
Awesome! Many thanks, Flapdoodle!!
