I've noticed a lot of these in my little suite. I've checked around for garbage or something that could be breeding them (the place is soundproof and relatively airtight so I don't know where they're coming from) and have found nothing. One of the images is of one post-squishing
What kind of fly is this?
What is the approximate size (in mm) of the first and third insects? The middle one is not a fly, it is either a microlepidoptera or a small caddisfly.
I've seen them in varying sizes, ranging from 1-2.5mm
As for caddisfly, that sounds accurate. I've seen a couple larger caddisflies but did not identify the little one as one.

The little flies could be in the family Bolitophilidae - http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/68917261
They seem to be related to fungus gnats, but that doesn't explain their presence in your living quarters.
