I'm pretty sure this is a wolf spider, but I'd like closure; I don't trust my own judgement, especially since I do not know much about spiders.
This little critter crawled into the house while I was distributing candy, and I only noticed it because it was being chased by my cats.
I'd also like to know if the spider's a male or female.
In any case, I've already released it back outside.
Male wolf spider, possibly a Schizocosa sp. Not dangerous.
