iceland poppy seeds

i like in calif central coast,i prepare the soil in a 1/8th acre meadow setting...do to darrell volentine on facebook youl see the wild flowers etc...i plant calif. and flanders poppys too with no problem, no icelandic poppys come up,why is that? if i put them in the refirdgerator 8 weeks like tulips will that work? any thoughts?

Iceland poppies like cooler growing conditions.
Here, they are sowed in the fall or at least before March.(It is still going below freezing here).
Chilling them might help,but I think that you want to get them
on the ground before your coldest weather comes.
I would sow them in a part shade area if I were down there.

ok,its a full-sun area see on my facebook page look at.. darrell volentine...its my fb page youl see the other wild flowers that grow in the meadow and get an idea on my situation
