When I look it up online all it shows is a spider wasp but it can't be for the simple fact there's no tarantulas in Canada.

There are many species of spider wasps that prey on small spiders, and some do occur in Canada. Here is is a species that has been reported from Ontario - http://www.bwars.com/index.php?q=taxonomy/term/381/all
