This is a poor quality picture but when this spider was very young I thought it was the more common argiope. As it got older, it's coloring was a bit different, like stripes going horizontal on its body.

I looked at both sets of pictures and I believe that it is the banded argiope in the pictures that you posted flapdoodle. Thanks!!!
