I was picking my tomatoes and was startled by this big guy. The first picture is the underside of the spider. I couldn't get a good clear shot of the top but you can get the idea. Scared me for a minute. It is a big thing - each leg around 1" long.

MyRee, such a pretty spider. I didn't know we got this particular one here.
this is the first one I have seen. I have seen a few black widow spiders though. They creep me out.
West Valley city isn't very far from me. What do you like to grow?
