Spider in tomatoes. Identify. good or bad?

I was picking my tomatoes and was startled by this big guy. The first picture is the underside of the spider. I couldn't get a good clear shot of the top but you can get the idea. Scared me for a minute. It is a big thing - each leg around 1" long.

Thanks much. I left that one alone in hopes that it would catch the other insects that I don't want.

this is the first one I have seen. I have seen a few black widow spiders though. They creep me out.

West Valley city isn't very far from me. What do you like to grow?
