Maybe a Brown Marmorated Stink Bug?
That seems correct - http://njaes.rutgers.edu/stinkbug/identify.asp
thank you, 1alh1 and Flapdoodle.
the rutgers people of NJ call it BMSB short for Brown Marmorated Stink Bug.
and i have a whole herd of them here in NJ.
We have them in Ohio, too. They seem to be very prolific this year...along with Spotted Cucumber Beetles and Earwigs. Natural predators? Not nearly enough.
