I've never seen this bug before which I'm shocked by simply because of its size and unique look. It's a bit bigger than a stink bug which are ramapant around here. He was pretty slow moving and he flies. I live in Readington, NJ. Oh - and he is quite patriotic if that helps ;)

It looks like a Wheel Bug to me, too. Yes, our insects can be quite patriotic! LOL
