This was found in a house near Thousand Oaks CA, in the thousands (if not millions). They are roughly 1-3mm in size. It would be nice to know what this insect is, in order to figure out how much of a problem this may be. Any info is helpful. Thank you very much.
Could someone please identify this small insect for me?
I can't find this one. Try this site: http://bugguide.net/node/view/15740
You can email them the photo and they will ID it for you.
Nymphs of a bug in the superfamily Lygaeoidea; looks like a Nysius sp. - http://bugguide.net/node/view/428808
Does not appear to be a serious pest.
I'll have to put this site on my favorites list, it's nice to have a good "bug" site handy.
We get some pretty weird buggies here too, all the Agriculture and the people influx I guess.
