CLOSED: Can anyone help identify

Barry's Bay, Canada

I found this under a rotting piece of wood. Does anyone know what kind of insect this is?

It appears that there are small legs just barely visible which suggests to me a centipede or millipede. Sorry I don't know the exact ID

I think it's a beetle larva. Some kind of wireworm or relative.

It is a beetle larva; most likely an elaterid, and many elaterid larvae are called wireworms.
