A large white spider with a bulbous body is lurking at the bottom of an infloresence on my orange mint and catching a series of flies that visit the flowers. When finished it drops its "empties" on the floor below, second photo.
Edited to ask: Could this be a white banded crab spider?

I think it is (what I call) a crab spider. I haven't tried to go beyond that level.
Empties...LOL! I think it's a Goldenrod Crab Spider. Misumena vatia.
