I have 'spicy hot oregano' plants, some tiny white flowered sedum, ummm, will have to see what seeds I have collected, I do have lemon thyme I can try to root if anyone interested.

2 packets of chocolate daisy (10+ seeds per packet)

I ordered a load of gladiolus that I can share if anyone is interested (minimum order on them was 100 bulbs. YIKES)

Carey, I have never grown glads before, are they hard? Do they need to be protected or dug up in winter? If they are fairly dumb proof, I would like a couple.
Since I am a sucker for purple things, carine, Saturn and purple flora please.

Marty, I am trying irises, my sister sent me a bunch when she thinned hers, so may I have one of your yellow ones?

Bubbles, may I have some Dulberg salvia and the Salvia Mexicana?

To anyone who is interested, Producers has royal gold, yellow, rose, peach, and white small lantanas for $1 and looks like I got one for .30. They are a little rough but I can get some for anyone who might want one. I bout the last two trailing lavender and Dallas red, but there were also a couple peach and rose left

(Carey) Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Joy, these are hardy to zone 7b or 5 depending on the variety. Either way, they like a few hours of sun and regular watering in well-drained soil. (they're "Carey" proof - why I love bulbs)

For some fat back, I'll happily bring you some!!! :D

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Joy, I will bring you some yellow irises. Frostweed is offering some purple bearded ones in the North Central swap and she has a lot. Would you like for me to bring you some of hers? I also have some Magenta colored Louisiana Irises that like it boggy if you want some of those. Let me know.

If anyone would like to swap coleus cuttings to be held over the winter, I have 3 that I can swap. Dont know the name but I have the velvety purple one with lime edges, the watermelon colored one with lime edges and a green one with cream edges. I'd love an orange one, the Alabama Sunset and Fishnet Stockings. I lost all 3 of those in the freeze of 09.

(Joy) Hempstead, TX(Zone 8b)

I would love both of them, I can make a marshy area where we have our grey water collected. Thanks.

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

steadycam, I have these rooted on my window sill. You're welcome to them if you like.

Sandi,
Do any of those three take sun? Would they fade on my East-facing front? It's bright, but an oak tree provides some dappling shade.

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Sandy, yes, I would like to trade with you on the coleus. Thanks.

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

steadycam, they're yours

gymgirl....mine are all in pots. They get moved around to avoid too much sun. Most of the coleus like shade. There are some that do well in sun, but not here when it's 103 in the shade!

(Carey) Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

I added a few more things to my list - I'll happily chop away if anyone is interested!

SE Houston (Hobby), TX(Zone 9a)

Careyana,
Could I get some jasmine? Any one you recommend that smells good and would grow in a container for later transplant into my edible landscape.

Thx!

(Carey) Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Gotcha down! The jasmine is putting on more buds after the rains this weekend. Hopefully it'll still have a few when I take cuttings so you can get an idea what it can do on an evening when it's laaarge...and it does GREAT in containers!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Careful, I'll bring you both, chuckl

(Joy) Hempstead, TX(Zone 8b)

Janet, can I have a Musical Notes plant?

SE Houston (Hobby), TX(Zone 9a)

Hey, Ya'll!

I don't have a lot of flowers (none, really) to share, but I do have lots of black nursery pots and peripheral gardening paraphernalia.

Not sure what ya'll might be interested in, but I'll try to post some pics.

Linda

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

GG, I'd like some of the larger pots if no one else has claimed them. What can I bring you?

SE Houston (Hobby), TX(Zone 9a)

Your warm smile and steady spirit will be more than enough!

Kerrville, TX(Zone 8a)

Joy, please check your email. We are going to your round-up unless the sky falls in.

Kerrville, TX(Zone 8a)

Linda, I don't care if you only have one seed. I have few plants as well. Hope Joy allows me in. We can swap my brownies for your SPECIAL greens. I have never forgotten those delicious veggies. Most people know your love is tomatoes, well, if I remember correctly, that is what I am thinking.
My friend and I will be going 288 over Pearland. If you would like to ride with us by meeting us in that area, you are welcome, but it will be only a day trip for us as of now. We are still trying
to determine if we will go to Bubba's.
Carol

SE Houston (Hobby), TX(Zone 9a)

Hey, Carol!
Thanks for the offer to ride, but, I will need to take my car, and there's another vehicle traveling with me. But, if you're going over 288 Pearland to the north side (290), you're passing right by me, so we could definitely all rendezvous and do a Breaker-Breaker Car-avan!

I could wait on 288 for you to go by! Fun!

The drive is approximately 75-90 minutes from 288 @ Loop 610, so if we rendezvous at 9:30, we're good to go for arrival at 11.

Lemme hear from you, ok?

P.S. You had me at "brownies!"

Wonder what the rest are gonna eat after I swap the greens for your famous brownies...sorry, guys, ya'll are gonna have to negotiate with Flowerette for the greens, and with ME for the brownies, LOLOLOL!

^^_^^^^_^^ (Linda and Carol doing the swap meet!)

Kerrville, TX(Zone 8a)

Linda, Breaker, Breaker 19 (whatever that means lol) You are too funny! If you have been to Joy's before, you can lead; otherwise I have to go by her directions. Since my friend, Doris, is going, we have
a navigator. lol. I would say swapping your greens for my brownies will absolutely work! Check your email.

SE Houston (Hobby), TX(Zone 9a)

Got it. Xtra greens on order.

Kerrville, TX(Zone 8a)

Careyana, my friend, Doris is also coming to the RU. She loves glads. If you have a few extra, she would love to have them.
I have no idea what she has and what she does not have. I can tell you it will make no difference to her.

(Carey) Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Flowerette, I'll bring along some extra bulbs for Doris. :)

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

I'm bringing extra cuttings of salvias around the garden. I'm going out this morning to see what's ready. I'll just bring them all and hope they find good homes. I'll post what I'll have later this morning.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Break 19 is the cb channel known as Sesame street to the truckers, chuckl, and it means you politely want to say something on the 2-way. Most of us arent polite-too many years of hearing the dirty laundry publicly aired, chuckle. Your '20' is where are you, 10-4, roger, rog-oh, 10, 42, are all affirmative acknowledgements to information.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

hahahaha! I'm old enough to remember when having your own CB radio and talking on it was "cool"! I never did--it was a boy thing!

And, Joy, I'll bring a cutting of musical notes. I've not had luck propagating it but maybe you will. It dies back in the winter, I put it on the side of the house and forget it until Spring and it comes back. Magic!

Does anyone want these Grandpa Ott's morning glories?? Because they are now growing tendrils and REALLY want a home! I have 2 in each cup and about 10 or more cups! If anyone has experience with MGs, let me know if they are a nuisance plant! I just planted a couple at home.
Thanks!
