i've researched this pretty well and feel confidant that i have made a correct id. i also have seen the adult spiders. i think that the brown widow is not a common spider so i thought i would share this picture. black widow cases are smooth and brown widow cases are knobby.
I agree, Track. I read an article this past winter that stated the brown widow was on the move across the south. Showed my DH and he said they had already arrived here...he showed me pics of the egg-cases and spiders that he found at work...
