Berry Plants from Seed

Has anyone had any luck with growing berry plants from seed? I got some seeds from a coworker (his brother has a farm), including huckleberry, salmonberry, and blueberry plants. I put some seeds a jiffy seed cups (not the pellets) with some soil about 8 weeks ago, water them with a sprayer every day, but haven't had any luck with them sprouting.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I still have some of each seed in the fridge, and was hoping for some advice before I give those ones a go....

Any seed from a native plant / berry bushes and most vines need stratification to break dormancy, that is cold treatment for 90 days as in nature = winter.

I advise you to winter sow these seeds. They need a long time to germinate and need - like cristina said- a cold period.
Some of these seeds might only germinate in the 2nd year, so don't empty the container too soon.

And keep them moist, some will need a peaty soil or using sphagnum moss.
