Karen recently re-energized my waning interest in Ipomoea and looking at the beautiful photos here completed the restoration.
I planted only one or two I. nils this year, but I found these volunteers more appealing than my purposeful plantings so I thought I would share them. If the background seems a little dark it is because I tend to have time to take photographs just as the flowers open at daybreak.

Alana - on #3 - love the planetary way large, pale nils reflect early morning light while the rest of the world is still dark :)
And Dany - yoohoo - are you noticing that #2 has a ray-flow pattern?
