...looks like a moth larva from family Saturniidae... the giant silkworm moths... ; but it's not one of the more common species.
anybody recognize it..???

The Polyphemus I saw first looked very similar but I don't know how much variation there can be in the color of spots.

My research says there is a lot of variation.
I spent nearly an hour going thru google-search images... I found no cats that had the blue dots at top...as I said, It doesn't appear to be a common species
Polyphemus Moth (Antheraea polyphemus). The bases of the lateral setae are often a silvery color, which in the right light and on certain individuals appears blue.
