Found this 'hibernating' sort of act - because I have not seen it outside lately - being done by this black cockroach like thing. It can fly also, but it moves very quickly on the ground usually choosing corners of walls when it enters the house. It does not stay inside, but tries to escape out in that event. Which is this one? It is about an inch long. It even played dead.
