I cannot post in Ask-a-Gardener forum

I wanted to post a reply to a member's question and I couldn't. It appears the following:

" You cannot post until you register, login and subscribe."

Can you tell me why?

Hmmm...maybe they're only for the ask-a-gardener folks. It says at the top that you cannot post answers to these questions.

thats correct, those questions go to the writers, or get moved to appropriate forums

If that is the case, it should say anywhere that that is the case, or "sticky" or some kind of directions to the general membership.
