CLOSED: Spider Identification in WI

Eau Claire, WI

Hello! I caught this spider climbing on my wall this evening in Eau Claire, WI. Would appreciate any help in identifying it.

Thank you for the help!

I am just an amateur, but the two "claws" out in front, and the general shape of body/legs etc, suggest to me that it may be in the "sac spider" family (Clubionidae), such as in Fig. 4 on this page: http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/housingandclothing/dk1033.html

Minot, ND

Definitely not a clubionid - the 'claws' simply are the enlarged pedipalps characteristic of all male spiders. It might be a male orb weaver in search of a mate. Whatever its identity, it's harmless.
