in Northern Virginia, woke up, and it was attached to my knee. Help IDing this guy?
CLOSED: Picked a tick off my knee after spending some time outdoors
It looks like a Dog Tick to me.
Thanks! that's definitely the consensus I'm getting, American dog tick, luckily it was still flat when I yanked it, so hopefully I won't have souvenirs of this later!
Make sure you see a physician if you show any symptoms.
One week later. No symptoms. Again, most appreciated!
You're very welcome. ^_^
