No picture yet; Some sort of insect

I see these insects around where i work occasionally, but i haven't had a chance to take a picture of them.

They have long, thin bodies, like a dragonfly, but their wings look different. They're bodies have a honey bee pattern, brownish yellow with black stripes. When they are on the ground, they have their backsides facing upward , and their heads look kind of like a fly's.
