I just got back from a stay in a cottage at a nearby resort, and even though it doesn't look like a bedbug to me, I am paranoid never the less.
Sorry for the poor quality, it was still alive when I scanned this and it was probably moving a bit.

It's a beetle, possibly a soft-winged flower beetle. Completely harmless.
