I took this picture July 4th. It looked like a bee until I downloaded the picture; now not so much. Is it some kind of bee?

A Hummingbird Clearwing moth. Let me check to see if I can find which one.
On second look, that may be incorrect.
Nice one! This is a bee fly of the family Bombyliidae. I believe it is Lepidophora lutea specifically:
