This spider has been living in my daughter's front porch in the crevice of the 4x4 porch supports. I believe it's a funnel web spider as it is identical to pictures in your bug files here. I have also been told it could be a wolf spider, but we don't usually see them in the area my daughter and I live in in Southern California. This spider doesn't seem to do webs but wraps up little orb weavers and other insects.
