But today I came across two totally new ones to me. Any ideas?
CLOSED: Every day a new bug.
The first one is a leafhopper - http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6089/6052737641_515ebca126_z.jpg
The second one could be a fruit fly in genus Strauzia - http://bugguide.net/node/view/525519/bgimage
I never thought of a leaf hopper. Is that your picture? I have to learn how to find these bugs on the internet. Thanks for your help. The fruit fly is just hanging around my ornamental grass on the opposite side of the yard from the fruit? Go figure! Thanks once again for your help.:) M
No, not my photo - my camera isn't that good!
