There's a spider that lives in my window. It comes back every year during spring/summer. There's a small hole in the side of the window that it likes to hide in sometimes to do whatever spiders do. Its web is a scattered mess but is mostly vertical. Its thorax is dark brown with some strange kinda spotty white markings, and the rest is a lighter brown. The legs seem mostly the same length and pretty thin, but the front legs might be a bit longer I'm not sure. The whole spider including leg length can't be bigger than a dime. This spider hasn't ever been a threat to me and all and in fact I'm not really worried about it since I'm moving out soon, but I'm just curious about what kind of spider it is since I've seen it for years.
e: I forgot to mention, this spider is in south eastern Michigan.

Cobweb spider, possibly Steatoda triangulosa - not dangerous.
