I'm in Louisville and came across this coal black bug. I've never seen one in Pa where I live . Can anyone tell me what kind of bug this one is.

I couldn't get that close to see the yellow on the bug with my photo but it sure looks the same. Too bad bugs don't stay in one place so you could go back to get a second look. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. :) M
I see the yellow feet and a bit of yellow on the thorax.
Yes, but until it was pointed out in the picture I was directed to view I really didn't notice.
