My leaves are "leaving"

Our house is the only one on the street with a tree in the front yard and my leaves are blowing into everyone else's. Winds are really kicking up today. Waiting for them to tell me I should clean their yards for them. Probably should, too, 'cause all my precious future leaf mold is getting away.

Instead, I'm inside net surfing, baking bread, cream scones, rice pudding and pumpkin cookies. For the most part, my family doesn't eat what I bake so I give it away to the neighbors. With all this baking going on, guess what I'm eating right now?

BBQ potato chips.

Zeb, you could organize a leaf party, buy some big leaf bags and get everyone raking and bagging those leaves. Then have them bring the bags to your house and treat everybody with hot cider and cookies. You get your leaves back, the neighbors get rid of your leaves, everyone has fun.

Gotta get those neighbors trained Zeb. Try to get 'em to cut the leaves up with a mower and empty the bag into your compost or leaf storage area. I provide this "refuse service" free for several of mine and have lots of mulch and compost. LOL
