CLOSED: furrow orbweaver spider?

Mount Pleasant, PA(Zone 6a)

I'm pretty positive the spider in this pic from my front porch is the furrow orbweaver. (i searched thru the files). Can anyone tell my more info about it? It has a very nice web attached to the porch post & hanging pot. It's just chilling in the center. it's legs are a very light brown & it's back is tan with some darker spots almost but not quite circular on each side. If it were inside it would be dead. I'm scared of spiders. I am however willing to share the porch & yard with them if they aren't going to bite me & cause me to need to go to the hospital. So should I let this guy stay or hit it with spider spray?

Too blurry to tell but all Orbweavers are beneficial

Minot, ND

And harmless to humans.
