please help me identify these creatures. the bigger spider i think is a crevice weaver i captured. i found another on my porch on its web after a rain and put them in the same container. The larger spider quickly subdued the smaller. pictures attached.
The larger spider is a crevice weaver (southern house spider); the smaller one is an orb weaver; probably an Araneus sp.
