Hi all,
I found this is in my back yard today I live in the UK. I thought it was a wolf spider at first but looking closer it is different. It is about one inch in size, it's legs are dark (almost black), abdomen is a brown with a white pattern. It seems to be completely hairless, which makes me worry a little because I've never seen anything like it before.
Any ideas what it is?

It's ok I've managed to find it. It is apparently a lace webbed spider (Amaurobius similis). And not harmless :)
