CLOSED: Yellow bug in my Alabama front yard this morning

This is the first time I've seen this one. I don't know where to being an ID search and was hoping someone here might already know what it is.

It has small alien-green eyes and those wings on its back open up and turn it in to a weak flyer.

Thanks! I always assumed I'd be looking at something green if it was a katydid.

So after some searching here's it's official name (I think), Oblong Winged Katydid, Amblycorypha oblongifolia. Apparently yellow is a rare color for them, so a treat for me this morning!
