I found him this morning, chilling out. I never seen this kind of moth around Montana before.
Anyone Know The Species?
Looks like a Polyphemus moth. Very pretty.
Was going to ask what areas they're native to specifically, cause I'm not sure if Montana is one of them.

Didn't see anything about lifespan.
life span is about 2 weeks tops. The breed, lay eggs and die.
The adult moth has no mouth part, so only has the stored fat it ate as a caterpillar. I doubt they live long at all.
