my family and i were sitting in their backyard { we live in pontiac, michigan} it was late at nite, and all of a sudden this huge flying bug came out of no where and landed on the picnic table. could some one please help me identify it? no one was bitten or stung by it, but it did seem to be eating the wood off the table. it was gone the next day and has not been back.
