Cool, Holly!
Your Neck of the Woods Chat- Memorial Day 2012
When I was at Mercer Co. Comm. College (formerly Trenton Jr. College) we took biannual trips to Shark River ( more of a tidal basin than delta), for our Invertebrate zoology class. Since I was a student worker in the bio dept. We could attend if we could free our schedule and space allowed. I went at least 3 times, and the non class visitors could just explore any of the available flora and fauna. We found everything from sundews to sharks' teeth, as far as I was concerned it was one of our most fun labs, even if you were knee deep in mud. LOL Ric
The thing that impresses people most is that the farm is 20 miles from the ocean. They always wonder how it's possible and I say, well, everything was covered by water from the flood.
So glad today will be a bit milder.
Did I miss it? is there a thread for pics of our summer flowers?
No we don't and I have been thinking about it but didn't bother to start one. Why don't you go ahead and start one for us. We do have a new thread for tropical plants.
will do
