The storms are awful today. We have tornado watches until 8. I don't mind storms but don't like tornado watches or warnings. We had hail about an hour ago. The rain is coming down hard and blowing a lot. If you look out and see a very fluffy short lady going by reach up and grab me (I don't like flying) and please give me some coffee. I am going to shut down because the lightning is really bad. I will be back.

Are you back on yet or did you fly away? We have the warnings, watches an sirens here now. I guess I will be unplugging soon. If you don't answer, I'll start looking out the window for you. :)

What a night, huh?! We sat and read while the TV was on last night, and I watched that finger stretch from Michigan down to Louisiana, sweeping eastward. What action!

When it finally hit our house, the winds were 65 MPH (confirmed). I actually got the kids up and we all set in the interior bathroom and read childrens books. In 10 minutes it was mostly over!

What a night. That was the storm of 2001, for sure.
