Can someone please identify. A host of these hang outside my front door. My friend said it was a brown recluce so i offed it. Was he correct? If so, what is the best way to keep these little killers away? I don't want them harming my fam or pets.

You need to see its eyes to be certain - recluse spiders only have six rather than the eight eyes seen in most other spiders. They appear scarce in Ohio - http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2061.html
