STORMS....

There are some real bad storms moving through ILL. and MICH. now and later tonight! Tons of rain and even 3in hail.
I guess they had a twister spotted south of here about 20 miles!
Everyone here in MI. and ILL. good luck and buckle down the hatches!!!

They had 90mph winds near South Bend. Flipping over semis.

Just came in from securing everything I could.

Dang! I'd better check the forecast for central Ohio! It was sunny just a little bit ago, but now it's really clouding up. :-( Gee, if the electric gets knocked out tonight, I won't be able to vacuum....Or even be able to see to dust! Hmmmmm...

dori, i heard that on the news today at lunch that yall were going to have "hurricane force winds" near the great lakes! Grab yer britches and hang on!!!! Be safe! Hope it passes thru quickly without any damage! Hugs, Lisa

Second wave is approaching now-tornados are already being reported. Lots of rain and lighting here-so im going to sign off for now-Hope everyone in its path stay safe!

Yep! Our sirens just started blasting. Severe thunder storm warning....winds, hail, rain, deadly lightning. Not sounding like a good night.

Let us know that you are all safe after the storms.I'm sure everyone will be worried. Keep safe.

Storms headed this way due to hit at 9:50 they say. The wind is really picking up .

We are ok here-not sure how much damage-I can see my cedar trellis is down in the garden!=[ Im no sure what else is damaged-its still dark out! We have winds gusting up to 60mph --steady at 30-40mph and I live in open flat farmland-we call it dorothyville-ozland!
I hope everyone else is safe-paulgrow was in the path of some mean storms-Paul you ok? sandy in porthuron you ok???

Well we are ok here in Nashville. We are getting outside as soon as it is light enough to clean up all the debris caused by the strong winds but at least the tornadoes didn't come through here this time around. We have had that twice in the last few years and don't want it again.

It didn't seem to be that bad here. We had some transformers blow and huge trees got knocked down and a bit of flash flooding. It was a little scary as it sneaked up, thunder, lightning, rain and leaves flying sideways! We unplugged the puter and tv and went to the basement for a bit to make the kids happy. After about twenty minutes we came back up. All is well. Hope is wasn't much worse for the rest of you.

It hit here about 3AM, boy was that wind strong! Everything seems to be OK outside, I am missing one birdfeeder, it could be in the ocean by now.

ooooooo what a night it hit here in middle of night ,,,,me an dh hid in kitchen corner agaist brick flue,,,,,,,,it got

notmartha: I'm always ready for snow..but then again I also know I'm a bit on the strange side. I'm glad everyone seems to have made it through last night okay. We didn't get much of anything in Pittsburgh. I waited up for hours just in case. The storms we had the night before were much worse.

Well made through the storms, wow what a night kept thinking the house would blow away. Rain, hail, sleet, winds taking everything in it's path.

Good thing I took in all my decorations last night or they would have been gone. Batton down all the porch furiture as well.Good thing too.

Still very windy here today and not much change called for.
