We recently planted Pineland Acacias, and these odd little bugs (?) have shown up on them. I've also have Sweet Acacias in my garden for 3 years now, and have never seen these critters on them (inlcuding now, when there are tons of them on the Pinelands, which is in close proximity to the Sweet). They are small, ~1/5" long. I live in Central Florida. Trying to find out what it is in case it's something that can damage my first year shrubs.

Wow, that's a shocker :) Thank you very much for the ID! I'll get my husband on treating the plants ASAP since it's such a detrimental species.
