Pisie,I understand you are moving to a new house?
What will become of your gardens?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I'll move most of the stuff down back with me. I'll leave some up here....and i've already bought 3 new JMaples and a few others for the new house. :)

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

yes, Hollyhock. Looks like ones I have.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

thanks... I don't see mine in the back yard... and the one in my front yard is only a couple of leaves sticking out of the ground.. guess that lack of full sun strikes again

:(

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Is that phlox mildew resistant?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Marilyn is that phlox Aureole?

Thomaston, CT

I think that plant is a malva...hollyhock cousin....Jo, it doesn't say on the tag, only that it's a Proven Winner, phlox hybrid.....since it's an annual phlox, there wouldn't be a mildew problem....

Thomaston, CT

TBI, Sibs are starting to bloom, & verbascum Caribbean Crush.....

Pirl and I were just compareing notes on how much shorter lilies are this year. Many of mine are at least 18 inches or so and the Martagones are half the size they were last year. One isnt blooming and I dont see any buds on the Backhouses.
Other perennials seem un changed.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

still don't see 6 foot lily or black beautys... guess the hurricane & snow storm were too much for them.. maybe ??

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

guessing.. weeds??.. didn't look familiar to me
